The preparation of any wedding event is absolutely critical. We meet with each client a minimum of 2 times prior to your event. We are one of the few DJ services will full-time staff. What does that mean to you? Experience, Availability and Professionalism just to name a few. At our meetings we schedule out the details for your day, the activites, the music, the toasts, every fine detail. We take care of the timing, the flow, and all the other little details for you, allowing you to enjoy your day. Your wedding day will fly by and we want to make sure you get to enjoy it to the fullest.
What makes us unique? Encore employs DJ's & MC's that are active nightclub DJ's in Northern California. Why is this important? Because we are skilled turntablists and we know how to make music flow. A wedding is a unique event because it has an elegant part- your ceremony, the cocktail hour, dinner. After the elegant part comes the party!
Would you go to a nightclub where you knew the DJ would fade one song into another, creating an awkward pause after every song that's far from smooth? No Way! But this is what 99.9% of the "Wedding DJ's" in our area do because they never worked in the nightclub environment. While most couples aren't looking for a nightclub scene at their wedding, my point here is that we make the music flow, catering to a broad audience, making it more enjoyable for your guests. You'll be amazing at our mixing skills, something that truly makes us unique in the area. When you meet with us for a consultation we'll provide you with a recent mix CD- a recording from a live event so you can hear for yourself what we do and how we will take your party to another level.
We are also extremely knowledgeable when it comes to the perfect wedding music to fit your specific needs. Our catalog consists of over 40,000 songs, including every top-100 hit dating back to 1952. Additionally, we're equiped with wireless internet thru Sprint in the event someone requests an appropriate song we don't have. This equipment enables us to download the music at your event in just a few minutes.
Personalization is the key to designing the perfect atmosphere for your party or wedding reception. Given this, I encourage you to bring in a very healthy dose of your own personality into the event. A good DJ will add his personality to the event, a GREAT DJ will add YOUR personality to the event.

Venue Lighting
Lighting is a great way to make your event magical. If you want your event to have an unforgettable impact on your guests, some level of venue lighting is the way to go. We receive dozens of great compliments at every event where venue lighting is utilized. From the moment your guests walk in they are awestruck by the beauty of your venue.
We offer different levels of lighting sure to be a hit at your event. During our initial consultation we go over a number of photos from previous events to determine what you like and what you don't. From this we use our artistry and experience to develop a scene suitable to your tastes. One thing about lighting is that it takes proper professional equipment with a significant level of knowledge and experience to make a venue look great. Beware of DJ services that offer lighting yet have few or no pictures of their work.
Proper lighting is very expensive; a quality system will cost the DJ service $8,000 to $15,000. Chances are that a service offering lighting as a $200 option is not using the proper type of fixtures and probably only has a handful of them. Likewise, anyone who is passionate and adept at what they do will have a lot of pictures from previous events because they are proud of what they created. Our lighting equipment numbers over 200 fixtures, 70% of which are the new LED type fixtures that offer a variety of options and customization.
There are many different levels of lighting and different colors will help create the theme of your event. In the past we have created classical-elegant events, modern-elegant events, and modern club-style events. A classical, more elegant event will typically use Ivory and one, possibly two additional colors in the scene. A current, modern theme can be created with 2 or 3 different colors and little Ivory lighting. A modern club-style event may incorporate scenes that change color throughout the evening. Our advanced intelligent equipment allows us to slowly fade from one color scene to another. Whatever the theme of your event, we have something to suit every occasion.

Slide shows are always a crowd pleaser. We have the knowhow and software to create amazing slide shows set to music. We can provide a projector & 80-120" screen or 32" and 50" LCD Monitors to display the show.
